Disassembly Process

  1. Remove the freehub

    This step requires no tools—simply detach the freehub body from the hub shell. Note the orientation for reassembly.

  2. Remove small components

    Carefully extract springs, ratchets, O-rings, spacers, and the axle. Use a magnetic tray to prevent loss of small parts.

    Extract the drive-side bearing using the press tool. Support the hub shell to prevent deformation during this process.

    Reinsert the tool and remove the non-drive side bearing. Maintain steady pressure and rotational speed throughout.
